Built in 1931 by one of the greatest golf architects of his generation, Harry Colt, this layout is ranked as one of the top 100 golf courses in Europe, and has played host too many different golf events, notably the French Open. The 6,275 yard, par 72 golf course is laid out amongst undulating dunes and is exposed to tricky winds which will require accurate approach shots throughout your round. With outstanding sea views, many regard this stunning layout as a work of art, and the stand out links course in France. A must play whenever you are in Northern France.
As of the 27th February, there will be work undertaken restore and update this iconic course. The main focus will be on holes 14, 15 and 16, while emphasising the original links identity. During this time, visiting golfers will have the opportunity and privilege to enjoy the La Mer Course as it was played between the 60s and 90s.
