All this, together with walking the hallowed turf of the world’s most famous golf course
Augusta National in US Masters Week
This Event will give you the opportunity to enjoy some of South Carolina’s fabulous golf courses, where you will be able to soak up the fabulous Southern Hospitality both on and off the course. You can sharpen up your game by utilizing the fantastic practice facilities under the watchful eye of your very own PGA Golf Professional, before taking up the challenge of some of Hilton Head’s finest golf courses, including the spectacular USPGA Tour Venue, Harbour Town Links.
As part of a $80 Million investment in SeaPines Resort, Harbour Town Links has recently undergone re-modelling. This, on a course that was already rated the No.2 golf course on the USPGA Tour, as voted for by the USPGA Tour players themselves. The course reopened in September 2015 to rave reviews, leaving them confident of possibly taking the No.1 spot from none other than Augusta National itself.
Harbour Town Links host of the Heritage Classic that follows the US Masters each year. This is the oldest Tournament on the USPGA Tour, first being played over this splendid course in 1969 and won by no other than Arnold Palmer. You will get to play HTL just 2 days prior to its closure for the 2018 event and as always, it will be in the most spectacular condition in preparation for the Tour’s arrival. Combine all the above with World Class accommodation at Sea Pines Resort, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
Sea Pines is the No.1 Resort on Hilton Head Island. Tony Hereford – :
Went in 2017 with Peter and 10 other like minded golfers. The overall trip was superb, played some great courses, of which , Harbour town links and Haig point where probably the stand out. Would definitely go again just to sample the atmosphere at Augusta.
Nigel Ashton – :
I was one of the lucky few on the 2017 Masters trip. Fulfillment of a lifetmes ambition ! What a fantastic week of golf. Other than Augusta, playing some amazing courses, especially Harbour Town Links was pure golfing heaven. Haigh Point on Daufuskie Island was another highlight amongst highlights with 3 x Par 3’s straight from a video fantasy game of ultimate holes ! The accommodation was superb as was the company and wow do the Americans know how to treat their visitors ! Thanks Peter and company for a week never to be forgotten and not just for tornadoes !!
Peter Wilson – :
Hi Peter
Thanks for a great holiday with lots of good golf courses and a good crowd of lads and lassies.
Whilst the practice day was somewhat of a disappointment because of the unfortunate Tornado hitting Augusta, the rest of the time it was great for golf and most enjoyable on all the courses – particularly at Haig Point – which we though was sensational.
The ferry across the “Callaboogie Sound” was a unique way to travel for a game of golf but made the experience a superb one.
Thanks for all the taxiing which was much appreciated by us both especially in view of our Satnav and we also enjoyed the meals out with some good choices by Mick and Graham.
No doubt your family will have been glad to welcome you back and I shall look forward to meeting up again at the Preston event.
Veronica and I thank you once again for making our holiday so enjoyable.
All the best.
Peter and Veronica
